We so feel love and community here at FBC! John 13:35 says "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” We indeed know and love each other. Please come join us to worship the Creator and Sustainer of everyone and everything…The living God.
FBC Jesup has been a wellspring of God’s truth, love, grace, and spiritual guidance for our family over the past 20 years. We would love for you to join us!
First Baptist is my family. I love our connection time together, and I know God has a plan for me in this fellowship of believers. It is a blessing to walk in the doors at First Baptist Jesup and feel like you are home. We have a place for everyone from the nursery to our senior adults, and our Children's Ministry has monthly events for children. I would love for you to join me for a God-filled worship experience and let us show you why we are A Caring Family of Faith.
We began attending First Baptist in 2006 as our son, Charles was already attending the youth group STOMP and we were in need of healing . We found a loving, caring group in our SS class and in the membership as well . "A Caring Family Of Faith" is here at First Baptist.
Our family joined First Baptist Church back in 2000. We loved the friendly people that welcomed us! We have enjoyed being involved with children, teens and adults throughout the years!
My husband Jack, was asked to preach the month of December at FBC. The very first Sunday there, God placed a burden on Jack’s heart for FBC. What a blessing it was for Jack and I to be there! We were welcomed with open arms and immediately felt God’s presence and sense of belonging there. Now Jack serves as interim pastor and what a joy it is to see God working through all of us at FBC!
I don't know how I would have walked through the last two and a half years without the wonderful, caring people of FBC Jesup. They were constantly there for me throughout my health situation and I am just so thankful. Praise the Lord.
I joined FBC after Billy and I were married. I found FBC to be a friendly and loving church. I was welcomed from the beginning. I got involved with the ladies ministry, cooking and meals ministry at our church. I have been blessed!
FBC has been a blessing to our family in so many ways. It was a very important part of our lives when we moved to Jesup in 2004 with small children that were accustomed to a large church family with many activities. We are Jesup implants that have come to love our small town and church home.
What keeps me at Jesup First Baptist? It feels like Home. All of the most important events of my life have taken place there... there I have always felt loved.
I came to FBC of Jesup over 40 years ago as a visitor. I later joined and began serving the Lord. I raised a family and went through a crisis but came out stronge. I choose to serve the Lord at FBC of Jesup.
Whether we're in the sanctuary or walking the halls of the Sunday school classes, it always feels like home. We love our Sunday School class and the people in it have become like family. So grateful and truly thankful for FBC Jesup.
Our family has enjoyed being a part of First Baptist Church for over 35 years! Our family has enjoyed, and been a part of Wednesday night Bible study, children’s choir, family night supper. We enjoy being a part of a caring family of faith.
My name is Beth Gorse and my family moved to Jesup in 1994. We were searching for a loving and welcoming church family as well as a choir for me to join. We found that at FBC. I love my church and I love praising the Lord through music !!
First Baptist Church welcomed me (Melissa) as a young, single teacher when I moved to Jesup. I found a family, both through adoption and then marriage. I have grown through serving, studying and mission outreach involvement. FBC is truly a church I treasure.
God is Good! Please come join us at FBC ! We have something for all ages and welcome all! A friendly loving church! Hope to see you at church!
