A MOPS meeting is a place where you'll get to have honest, uninterrupted conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. It is a place for healing and a place for growth. We welcome moms from all backgrounds, and become "fast friends" because we talk about heart issues and deep truths. We encourage, grieve, love, serve, forgive, and heal together. But the only way we can do it together, is by being together! Which means we need YOU! And if you've stumbled across this page, maybe God is telling you that you need us too. We are a MOPS/MOMSnext group which means that we are open to moms from pregnancy through school age. MOPS/MOMSnext is an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church of Jesup. Come join us!
Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. If you are a mom with a child birth through twelve years old, we have a place for you!
Great news! First Kids now meets during MOPS, so a fun day has been planned for all potty-trained children ages 3-11. And this event is FREE! Nursery spots are still limited. Please contact Christine Tanko at (912) 424-5964 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting if you need childcare for your baby or toddlers. The current cost is: $5 for the first infant/toddler $3 for the second infant/toddler $2 for the third infant/toddler No mother will ever pay more than $10. So if you are one of the awesome moms with 4 or more kids, it's time to celebrate! There will be a short form required so that you can provide necessary information about your child. All childcare workers are over the age of 18 and must pass a background check. We are always looking for new childcare workers. If you have a passion for leading children to Christ and are interested in becoming a childcare worker, please contact the church office at (912) 427-4239.
Various Saturdays at 9:15AM - 11:30AM
There are two ways to get involved with our MOPs/MOMsnext group. One - You can contact our church at 912-427-4239 and leave a message for our MOPs coordinator, Christine Tanko, or ask the receptionist for the next date. Two - You can use the form to leave a message.
