Pastor Brooks was called to serve as the lead pastor of First Baptist Jesup in October 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from Brewton-Parker College and a Master of Arts in Evangelism and Church Planting from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary.
Before becoming our pastor he served as the pastor/church planter of New City Church in Alma, Georgia for thirteen years. Pastor Brooks is married to Allison, and has two beautiful daughters, Sophie and Piper. He absolutely loves spending time with family. They love to travel, especially the beach, and enjoy good food. Pastor Brooks loves to play golf, hunt, and fish. He loves music and books and pretty much all Georgia/Atlanta sports(Go Dawgs)!
Creston is a native of Gum Branch (Hinesville), GA, Creston joined the staff of First Baptist in June 2007 as Minister of Music. He is a graduate of the Townsend School of Music at Mercer University, Macon where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Voice and his Master of Music in Choral Conducting and Church Music. In June of 2019, he received his Doctor of Worship Studies from the Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, Florida.
Before moving to Jesup, he served churches in Macon, Ga and was the director the Children's Preparatory Choir of Mercer University. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and cooking – especially backyard barbecues with family and friends. He is married to Amy Shiley Groover, a cardiac nurse practitioner and they have two daughters, Caredith and Marigrace.
Ally Miller (Allison Pinder) began serving at FBC in April of 2021, which was a homecoming of sorts. Ally was born and raised in Jesup and was a member of FBC until she married in 2015. Being a wife to Matt, and mother to Waylon, Ally loves staying home with her boys! In her free time, she also enjoys drawing, painting, photography, music, cooking, and gardening.
She has worked as a Lead Service Receptionist at a BMW dealership in Atlanta while completing a 2-year commercial photography degree. After moving back to Jesup, she worked as a Medical Service Representative and later as a Project Assistant for the Economic Development Department at Coastal Pines Technical College. She feels serving FBC and the Wayne County community is exactly where God led her to be.
Regina Robinson Parker is the daughter of Wavell and Darlene Robinson from Pavo, Georgia. She is married to Stephen Parker and has three children, Lewis, Brooks, and Peyton. Regina has taught grades six through eleven in Brunswick and Jesup. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Education degree in ELA and Social Studies. After 26 years of teaching, Regina is looking forward to retiring from Martha Puckett Middle School at the end of this academic year and beginning a new career teaching and learning in First Baptist Church’s youth department.
Regina enjoys reading, learning, walking, painting, and spending time with family and friends. She is most grateful for the love of her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, and yearns to share His redeeming love with others.

Keri is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She has lived in Jesup and been a member of FBC since 2002. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of West Georgia. She has three grown boys, three cats and two dogs.
Her hobbies include travel, camping, and beekeeping. Her passion is for discipling youth as they navigate their rapidly changing world and fostering their Biblical literacy.
She recently earned the title of widow when her husband of 31 years passed away after battling brain cancer. While he is enjoying Jesus she now enjoys telling mom jokes to the youth and eating Mexican food whenever she can.
