This ministry provides and delivers meals each Monday to shut-ins and others with special needs. It consists of five teams, one for each Monday of the month.
Rooted in the principles of Titus 2:3–5, this ministry is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, encouragement, and mentorship among women. Through Bible study, prayer, and personal connection, older women come alongside younger women to offer guidance, wisdom, and support in living out their faith. Whether navigating marriage, motherhood, or everyday life, women are equipped and encouraged to grow in godliness, build strong families, and serve faithfully in their homes, church, and community.
This ministry serves the needs of those with developmental disabilities and other special needs. These individuals are a very important part of the life of First Baptist Church. We also have a ministry for the hearing impaired and our morning worship service is sign interpreted. We have Vacation Bible School each summer and other activities during the year for the older youth and adults.
The H.UG. Ministry is an extension of the Women's Ministry. H.U.G. stands for "His Unlimited Grace". The purpose is glorify God by loving and serving the widows of our church family. Our prayer is that through this ministry, relationships are strengthened, and we grow together for God's glory and the good of others.
