galactic starveyors

What a great time we had at VBS 2017: Galactic Starveyors! Our volunteers put in a lot of work, and it was well worth it! Over 300 kids registered for VBS, with an average of 250 kids and youth attending daily. Among the 300, over 100 unchurched children and families were touched by this event. With 13 groups of kids, 9 classes (Bible Study, Music, Snacks, Games, and Crafts for both younger kids and older), van routes, security, refreshments, and more, over 80 volunteers worked everyday for 5 days beginning before 8:00 in the morning and many working till late in the evening after the kids left to prepare and teach kids about Christ. Several children accepted Christ as their savior, and many more children and families now understand the love of God and that they are welcome at Jesup First Baptist Church.

Thank you so much to all the volunteers that helped before VBS with preparation, set-up, and outreaches, during our main event, and after VBS with clean-up and follow up to make it a success. All of your hard work and effort showed God’s love and grace in the lives of so many kids and families in Jesup and surrounding counties!!
